Melide
Today we start the hike at Palas de Rei and arrive at the village of Melide. The terrain is mostly flat with some hills. The trail is shaded by small forest. It is a short hike today. Melide is slightly larger than Palas de Rei and has several albergues and good restaurants. Melide is known for the pulperias (octopus) bars . The villages slowly blend into the suburbs. There is bus service to Santiago de Compostella.
