Los Arcos
The hike today starts at Estella and reaches the village of Los Arcos. This village is from medieval times. The old church is impressive. Los Arcos is an agricultural village. Wheat is an important crop as is wine. The hike today is somewhat flat. I estimate a distance of some 27 kms. After Estella, the next village is Irache followed by Azqueta and later Villamayor de Monjardin. These are in the wine production business. After Monjardin, the hike can seem at times eternal until you reach Los Arcos. There is a Roman bath house after Azqueta.
