If you took the bus from Roncesvalles and arrived at Trinidad de Arre the hike to Pamplona is ~ 7 kms. The albergue at Trinidad de Arre is a medieval pilgrim hospital. In which case you have more time to spend a full day at Pamplona the following day if you stay at Trinidad de Arre. The hike is mostly flat terrain. Pamplona has great restaurants & bars. Pamplona is a Hemingway favorite.
